Books: Diablo: The Sin War, Birthright
and Doom: Endgame
The reason I made this post is because I am ticked off. I bought these two books for around 25 bucks. Thinking they we're actually gonna be about the games their titles claim. Even the back cover kept mentioning several aspects and parts from the games.
But neither are even remotely about the game they say the're about. Is it just me, or does anyone else agree with me when I think that I got ripped off?

There's a couple of starcraft ones, specifically "Liberty's Manefesto" or something like that. Good book.
I didn't like the description of the Diablo2 books, they didn't seem to have much to do with the game, other than the time frame. Good thing my assumption was accurate.

Well the Diablo book had a few things correct. There was this diguised relgion that is actually the Prime Evils. And it also talked alot about the Corner Stone of the World. But other then that it took place several thousand years before the Wanderer killed Diablo beneith Tristram.

I thought the wanderer WAS diablo?
Of course, that's just talking about d2, I don't remember much about d1.

Well ya the Wanderer is technically Diablo. But the only reason he is, is because the Wanderer was tricked into putting Diablo's soulstone into his head, thusly transfering Diablo's soul into the Wanderer's body. Man I love Blizzard's story lines.

Was that the end of d1? It's been so long...

Ya know, sometimes I favor D1 over D2. Mainly because its a little bit more of a challenge. Anyways this book also has a "fake" religion that is actually the Prime Evils. They fake gods names are Mefis, Lord of Love(opposite is hate), Diala, Lord of Determination(opposite is terror), and Bala Lord of Creation(opposite is destruction) And I thought that the author made that a little easy.

I read a few StarCraft book series. Those books are very good!
CagedinSanity: In reference to the first StarCraft book title you said, I think. I believe it's called "Liberty's Crusade".

Yeah, It's back on my bookshelf. Is that so? Ah, that's good! Hope you enjoyed reading that book, along with probably other StarCraft books you may have in your bookshelf.
