Rules: Please, before even ATTEMPTING to role play, at least have some knowledge of it first.
Any person can make a new thread, with a nice creative introduction to your adventure. You can start out at any place, such as the bar in Suran, or somewhere around a town, maybe smoking sugar or something, but I DO NOT want to see, "so.. i start out in the middle of nowhere...."
Don’t use fancy or rare weapons. However, you can say you have a daedric dai-katana, which is acceptable, but nothing like an enchanted bow or the chysamere.
During the role playing: No one can actually finish the main quest; you can't even say you are going to recover sunder or anything like that. No main story at all, this should be more of a Fanfic.
Playing an NPC is acceptable
Decent Grammar is a must.
Anyone can come into the story at any point, and if the user somehow leaves (maybe going to bed or something, which relates to the next rule) they should not be thrown to the side. As in, don't really continue without them, it wont be fair.
If you somehow want to tell people you need to step away from the keyboard to take out the trash, make dinner or go to bed, please use the OUT OF CHARACTOR:
OOC: sorry everyone its time to eat dinner. or OOC: guys, I gotta go, school tomorrow >_< or use parenthesis ((Later d00ds.))
Got it? good.
Please, only in morrowind!!!!! (Of course, now including Solsthiem, Mournhold, and possibly the oblivion world when it comes out)
And don't say your strength is 100, just say you are very strong, and if you want, use the OOC to tell everyone what it is. Do not give us useless statistics. In real life, strength is not measured out in points.
Oh: [glow=red,2,300]DO NOT[/glow] overuse the OOC. Sorry.
If any story gets too off topic (maybe too many OOC's) then it will be locked.
Characters: You can't be unfair. Say if someone attacks you, and you immediately post saying, "no, you didn’t hit me! I jump out of the way!" This is not fair.
Think about what your character would do in real life. For example, most of the time all I do is jump around to level up my acrobatics and kill people because they have an enchanted ebony shield. DON'T DO THIS.
Actions can be in between stars: *I attempt to move out of the way* please don’t do actions in bold, it hard to tell what is an action. Italics may be sufficient.
All or most speech should be put into quotes: "Bartender, can i get another hit of some skooma?" Of course, the more advanced way of Roleplaying.
Important (or so I think)… you can't leave Vvardenfell and stay in the story. *Update: Mournhold/solthiem are OK.
