Hey, I'm new here...obviously and I got a question I'm hoping you guys can answer. I have morrowind for the PC, and for some reason the gamma doesn't work. It's to dark to see anything when i'm in doors, or when it becomes night. I have ATI software, my graphics card is a Radeon 9000, I have no idea how to change the settings so that the game doesn't just use my desktop brightness settings. If it's even doing that, for all I know it's always at 50/50 gamma and just doesn't work for some stupid reason currently beyond my comprehension. Anyway, any and help would be much appreciated.

Yes, the brightness on my monitor is, however, always at 100. It's not actually all that bright, or i've just gotten use to it, It's turned up all the way because watching videos on my computer with default brightness gives me the same "darkness" problem I'm having with Morrowind. I've set everything to default and changed the settings again, i've set the game defaults and made changes, the Gamma still does not work. I've asked around and I can't seem to find anyone who know how to fix this though many seem to agree it has something to do with my graphics card. I can't go in dungeons, or in doors anywhere, at night it becomes pitch black and all i can see is the stars in the sky and some really dim torch lights.

Also incase anyone was wondering, I do not have any mods. I have both expansion packs and I haven't downloaded the patch yet. Though i'll be downloading it soon.

Try the patch, it may fix something.
This forum isn't really that active so you may try asking at the official elder scrolls forums.
