Sept 10, 05 : An announcement has been made so this post (including a rule #8) can be seen throughout all boards, so there is no excuse for someone to think "Oh.. I didn't know I couldn't do that.."
1.) Don't ask for mod status, If you gain enough trust out of me, and prove your activity; Eventually you may get a private message asking if you want to be a moderater.
2.) Please do not spam. This counts for ONE WORD POSTS and double posting. Sure, sometimes it may be an accident, and bumping a topic is ok, but other than that. DON'T DO IT. spam= Sending Pointless, Annoying, Messages.
3.) Respect the members, mods, and admins. This goes for no flaming as well. They are sure fun to watch, but no good for our community.
4.) Tolerance is especially important in the forums. Insults about or towards another person's belief or religious attitude will not be accepted. If you debate, it must be done tastefully, with good points to back your argument up, instead of immature and closed-minded comments; A good philosopher is one who knows when he/she is defeated and does not hold a grudge against the victor. And Keep that mess in Serious Discussion.
5.) If you hack or spam or whatnot, make note that it WILL be your fault. such as if your little brother or sister gets a hold of your account, YOU'RE the dipshit who let them on the computer anyway.
6.) Please have some knowledge of what the hell you are doing.
7.) Your signature shouldn't be too long. however, even 400 charactors is too small for me. But thats how proboards is. DEAL WITH IT.
------------
OTHER SIDE RULES
1. Double-triple++ posting. Dont do it. It is a form of spam and is quite annoying.
2. The spam board CAN and WILL be removed if I see it being abused or overused.
3. Don't join, post your site, and never come again, your post will be deleted.
4. Don't advertise more than once. These boards are small, so dont need a bunch of your ads. bumping once every month is acceptable.
5. Cursing is allowed, just don't overdue it. its a privilage, not a rule.
